We’re so happy you’re coming back and we want to keep you safe! Here are some changes you might notice at your visit.

To control the capacity of our center and enable social distancing practices:

  • We’ll have just one staff member on the premises. It’s a whole new rhythm!

  • All sessions are by appointment only and prepaid to reduce foot traffic at the checkout desk. Are you a member or are you redeeming a gift card? A student? A vet? Look for your coupon codes when booking!

  • Please wait outside or in your car if you are more than 10 minutes early. We hope this changes before subzero weather rolls around.

  • Our front door will be locked. Please ring the bell and open the door when you hear the buzzer. Upon entry you’ll be greeted with the usual Bodymind warmth!

  • Our comfy couches are taking a break. We set up four chairs spaced 6 feet apart in the lobby, and will direct you to one of them where you’ll remove your shoes.

  • The Salt Room is single-occupancy. Shared Salt Sessions can accommodate a private party of up to four people (four chairs). There will be no group activities such as yoga or meditation classes.

  • The Primp Room is open to one person at a time. Additional hairdryers will be placed in our single-occupancy bathrooms. We no longer supply hair gel - please bring your own!

  • Memberships are purchasable online through our website.

PPE and screening policies:

  • All staff will wear masks when serving you. All guests must wear a mask when in any public areas of the Center.

  • All staff and guests will have their temperature taken using a quick no-touch laser thermometer. Anyone with a reading of 100.4 degrees F or over will be sent home to rest.

  • Please wait until you’re at your chair to remove your shoes. You’ll be given a pair of fun, clean non-slip plastic slippers.

  • All staff and guests will confirm that they have not had (1) COVID-19 symptoms, (2) a positive COVID-19 test, and/or (3) close contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case, all within 14 days of a scheduled appointment or work shift.

Disinfecting policies:

  • We thought we were obsessed with cleaning before, but now we’re absolutely mad! Our premise will be disinfected using CDC recommended practices and materials after each session. This will include our vestibule, lobby area, float tanks, float rooms, amenities, Salt Room, bathrooms and Primp Room. We’ll leave no doorknob un-wiped.

  • Float guests will take their coats back to their rooms instead of hanging it in the common coat rack. Salt Room guests may still use the common rack.

  • Our staff will wear masks and wash hands before handling towels and amenities and while cleaning the rooms.

  • Please help us maintain our cleaning schedule by exiting your tank and room promptly when your session is over, and by not lingering in our lobby. We look forward to those happy future days when we can chat and compare notes over tea again. For now, we can best serve you by keeping you safe.

Booking schedule:

To enable thorough cleaning practices and to protect our staff, our booking schedule has changed considerably. We may not be able to accommodate group requests (ie. four float sessions starting at the same time) and requests to have a float session be immediately followed by a salt session (or vice versa). Guests with Float+Salt packages are no longer required to have both services on the same day.

We highly recommend booking well in advance. We’ve enacted a new 24-hour hour cancellation policy (instead of 48 hours) with our new prepayment policy. We’ll gladly make a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made at any time due to COVID-19 related symptoms will always prompt a full refund.
